As part of the Risk & Compliance team, you will lead critical compliance initiatives and risk assessments, enhancing Benevity's regulatory compliance. Your responsibilities will also include mentoring team members and ensuring adherence to numerous important frameworks like PCI DSS and GDPR. You’ll be a pivotal contributor in fostering a proactive compliance culture.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement security and compliance policies
• Execute comprehensive risk assessments and track remediation
• Coordinate audit readiness and manage client compliance inquiries
• Support third-party risk management processes and activities
• Monitor regulatory changes across jurisdictions
Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in governance and compliance roles
• Familiarity with frameworks including NIST and FINTRAC
• Hands-on experience with GRC tools for audits and risk management
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Relevant certifications such as CISA or CIPM are an asset
