Provide essential on-site IT support as an On-Call Desktop Support Engineer. This role is suited for independent engineers seeking flexible, ticket-based IT work at customer locations.
You'll be responsible for Smart Hands support, including troubleshooting desktops, laptops, and printers. This freelance role involves hardware installations, replacements, networking assistance, and coordination with remote teams. Documenting work and reporting findings are key tasks to ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver on-site Smart Hands and L1 support
• Diagnose and resolve issues with IT devices
• Manage hardware installation and basic repairs
• Facilitate network connectivity tasks
• Update service tickets and share documentation
Requirements:
• Experience in Desktop Support or Smart Hands positions
• Basic understanding of Windows OS and hardware
• Familiarity with ticketing systems and procedures
• Strong communication and troubleshooting skills
• Capability to work independently at various sites
