IT BI & Data Solution DeveloperAs an IT BI & Data Solution Developer, you will play an important role in our journey to become a more customer and data centric organization. You will collaborate with a dedicated team of professionals, working on various agile projects focusing on analyzing process requirements and uncovering valuable insights into our business operations.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines to integrate various sources of data into easy‑to‑consume data products.
- Design and build reporting data models, interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI that provide actionable insights to business stakeholders.
- Ensure data quality, performance optimisation, observability and security across all developed solutions, following best practices in cloud‑based data architecture.
- Stay up to date with new features and technologies to continuously improve existing data pipelines, data models and reporting tools.
- Create and update solution documentation such as data lineage, data dictionary, metrics calculation logic, etc.
- Strong interest in artificial intelligence (generative AI, machine learning and deep learning).
- Technical or bachelor’s degree in computer science.
- 5+ years of experience in the IT industry.
- 2 years in data solutions development.
- Experience building ETL processes and data solutions.
- Good experience with programming languages such as SQL, Python and DAX.
- Experience with MS SSIS, Azure Dev Ops, Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
- Experience with Power BI or other reporting tools.
- Good understanding of modern BI & Analytics architecture in cloud environments.
- Noice in a bilingual environment (French and English), capable of communicating orally and in writing.
- Curiosity about new technologies, particularly AI.
- Strong skills in data analysis and business analysis.
- Proficiency in data integration and deployment of data systems.
- Ability to solve problems and optimise performance.
- Knowledge of data security best practices.
- Client‑oriented mindset with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Team player with strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Self‑motivated, proactive, and adaptable.
- Commitment to continuous learning.
- Hybrid work: 3 days at Michelin's Magog research center, according to current policy.
- Salary based on experience, plus a potential bonus of 9%.
