Your Opportunity
BDO Digital is currently looking for a Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Senior Functional Consultant to join our growing Solution Operations (Managed Services) Practice on either a full-time permanent or contract basis, with a flexible hybrid work arrangement. This is a new role that can be located anywhere in Canada, and the individual will own the following responsibilities:
Act as a trusted advisor to external customers and BDO project teams in support of client D365 F&O Managed Services engagements, with an approximately 75% support and 25% project-based focus
Analyze customer business needs and objectives and provide in-depth application expertise in targeted business areas
Streamline customer business processes to achieve greater ROI within the context of the Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations, Enterprise Edition suite
Provide training to client staff to perform day-to-day activities in support of ERP implementations
Troubleshooting issues and reproducing the issues in a separate development environment
Utilize effective communication and listening skills with customers and colleagues to troubleshoot technology issues and provide guidance/support
Apply Microsoft Dynamics Sure Step Methodology to assist customers in deploying the solutions in a timely and effective manner

Your experience and education
Minimum 3-5+ years of Dynamics 365 F&O managed services consulting and support experience, with strong expertise in the Supply Chain Management functional area
Knowledge of one or more other functional areas of D365 F&O or an another ERP product, such as Finance, Sales or Talent/Human Resources, is preferred
Previous experience working with a consulting firm is an asset but not required
Dynamics 365 F&O /AX certifications in the relevant business disciplines will be considered in our selection process
Self-motivated, articulate, and able to inspire audiences
Process analysis, redesign, and documentation experience
Experience in working on functional design, configuration, and process alignment with a detailed understanding of Finance concepts and general module functionality.
Knowledge of ITIL principles or working in Operational environment.
