Position: Senior Information Security Consultant to provide advisory and delivery support across business units using information

Our financial services client is seeking a Senior Information Security Consultant (4–7 years) to provide advisory and delivery support across business units using information security frameworks and controls

This role drives consulting services aligning security strategies with business goals, managing ticket-based workloads, and supporting multi-stream project delivery. The position offers visibility across stakeholders and an opportunity to influence enterprise-wide security programs within a collaborative environment.

Must Haves

4–7 years of relevant experience in information security or related field

Strong understanding of information security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST CSF, ISO /, PCI DSS)

Experience with information security concepts, methodologies, and controls

Knowledge of project delivery and business analysis practices

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work independently and handle non-routine situations

Post-secondary degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience

Nice to Have

Industry certifications (e.g., (ISC)², ISACA, SANS)

Experience with Service Now (nice to have)

Familiarity with vendor management and third-party security solutions

Exposure to financial services or regulated environments

Responsibilities

Act as a trusted advisor to assigned business units on information security matters

Provide consulting services aligned with organizational security standards and goals

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs, risks, and opportunities

Support the development and execution of information security strategies

Analyze data and provide insights, recommendations, and solutions to business challenges

Manage ticket-based workloads while delivering on project requirements

Track metrics, milestones, and issues; escalate risks as needed

Support vendor relationships, including implementation and ongoing maintenance of solutions

Promote process improvements, security best practices, and emerging technologies

Assess security impacts of project scope changes, including risks and benefits

Create and deliver clear, professional presentations to stakeholders

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and root cause analysis

Ensure adherence to information security policies, frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
