Product Engineer

Responsibilities

• Engineer with 4-8 years of experience in OT (Operational Technology) and IT
• Experience with SCADA/PLC based control systems
• PLC/SCADA troubleshooting and debugging experience
• Troubleshooting of electrical, PLC, and HMI systems
• Interfacing with real-time database applications to manage critical production information
• Prior Experience in Operation & Maintenance support of various interdependent system specifically interaction between IT and OT technologies
• Analyse and correlate Business Process Vs IT processes Vs Technologies
• Apply ITIL concepts while handling incidents , problems , changes, and request
• Assist to resolve and performing preventive analyses on day-to-day issues and suggest improvements related to business user related queries
• Coordinate with various teams, analyse root cause and assist in efficient resolution of all production issues/processes
• Monitor, highlight and escalate the issues for production systems
• Develop, document and train others on OT/IT systems and best practice procedures
• Vendor management and coordination to ensure SLA adherence for production system
• Analyse the business processes and ensure compliance to all controlled processes according to business requirements
• Coordinate with different internal and external stakeholders along with third party vendors and ensure effective and seamless communication
• Should be flexible and enthusiastic to learn new systems

• Knowledge of PLCs (e.g., Control Logix, Modicon, Siemens S7) is an asset
• Knowledge and experience with Ignition, Rockwell Factory Talk View, Wonderware Intouch or other HMI platforms is an asset
• Ability to read electrical schematics is an asset
• Good to have prior experience in Airport or transport industry
• Familiarity with IT/Networking and database applications is an asset
• Good to have knowledge and experience with Programming (C, C#, VBA, SQL or other languages)
• Knowledge of ITIL V4 (Certification Preferred)
