IT Programmer Analyst

Position: City IT Programmer Analyst
Drive technology solutions as an IT Programmer Analyst with the City of Saskatoon. This full-time temporary role focuses on system development, support, and project documentation.

Reporting to the Information Management/Technology Coordinator, this CUPE 59 position seeks an experienced programmer analyst to support and enhance computing systems for the City. You will be involved in all project roles and must embrace technology trends to effectively manage departmental needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enhance and support departmental computing systems

• Create test data to ensure program accuracy

• Prepare and modify system documentation and manuals

• Resolve system issues promptly and efficiently

• Provide training and guidance to City staff

Requirements:

• Degree in computer science or related field with four years' experience

• Valid Saskatchewan Driver's Licence and safe driving record

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SQL, .Net

• Experience in client/server development methodologies

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
