Transform remote sensing data into actionable insights as a Data Visualization Engineer n a dynamic team that emphasizes visual storytelling and innovation in a hybrid setting.

This role integrates deep expertise in data visualization with a creative collaboration model. As part of the Data Visualization Team in the Marketing Department, you will utilize unique datasets to convey impactful narratives. Your contributions will enable clients to understand and leverage Planet's powerful imaging capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Curate and present stories using Planet’s satellite imagery

• Design educational graphics tailored to customer needs

• Evaluate and enhance marketing materials for technical accuracy

• Work with press and analysts to disseminate imagery

• Implement data visualization best practices organization-wide

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years in technical roles related to geospatial data

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline

• Experience working with cross-functional teams

• Knowledge of data visualization and cartography principles

• Proficiency in using geospatial software and Python
