Conduct presentations and facilitate workshops using storytelling to connect, influence, and engage stakeholders.
Translate business needs into system specifications, including user stories, integration requirements, and acceptance criteria.
Implement prioritization methodologies and identify key investment drivers to effectively manage requirements across the portfolio.
Identify inefficiencies, recommend solutions, and support automation initiatives to enhance business operations.
Assist with writing and reviewing test cases.
Determine the underlying cause of problems and evaluate multiple solutions using a planned and structured approach to solving complex issues.
Implement, maintain, and stabilize information systems, configure updates, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvements.
Apply working knowledge of information modelling, including database design, interfaces, and business information models.
Provide input on task duration estimation, technical information, issue investigation, and resolution.
Leverage knowledge and experience in software development, Agile practices, and the SDLC.
Apply working knowledge of potash mining and supply chain operations.
Build strong relationships with business users, project teams, and management to ensure systems meet operational needs.
Support vendor and customer selection, contracts, and performance management to maximize operational and financial outcomes and mitigate business risk.
Maintain a customer-first mindset focused on meeting business needs, improving safety, maximizing customer value, reducing waste, and engaging capabilities across the organization.
Qualifications 5 to 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role.
Strong understanding of business and systems analysis practices, methodologies, and techniques.
Experience with IT applications and integrations, operational technology, networks, access management, data, and Snowflake.
Proficiency in systems design, process modelling, and software testing.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical users.
Relevant educational background, such as a degree in Business Analysis, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field.
Certifications such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) are considered an asset.
