Sr. Analyst, Supply Chain Data & BI

In this role, you will:

Work within a team of technical experts to understand the data requirements and optimise their use within supply chain management.

Improve business processes and drive innovation using business data and analytics.

Be responsible for developing creative dashboards, front-end visualizations and data modelling that will provide decision support capabilities.

Be part of an exciting digital transformation journey, as Cameco matures from descriptive to more predictive and prescriptive data analytics.

Required:

bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, data science, statistics, operations research, economics, or mathematics;

experience with SAP in the following areas:
Supply Chain, Plan to Pay, Materials Management and Finance;

minimum eight years of applicable work experience;

strong knowledge of data visualization best practices and techniques;

experience with data curation, report creation, key performance indicator (KPI) development and statistical analysis;

analytical skills, including strong SQL query knowledge; and

self starter and ability to understand business need and execute work independently.

Recommended:

experience working with an enterprise data warehouse Big Query, Azure or equivalent;

experience with business reporting tools Power BI, Looker, Tableau, SSRS or equivalent;

experience with ETL tools (Dataform, Apache Airflow, SSIS, or others);

experience working with SAP technologies S/4 HANA, CDS views, SAP Analytics Cloud; and

exposure to predictive analytics, Python, SAS or equivalent.
