Data Engineer - Quality & Observability

Drive enterprise-scale data reliability with a fully remote role as a Senior Data Engineer specializing in Data Quality and Observability in Canada. You'll enhance transparency and trust within critical business data systems.

In this high-impact position, you will design and implement scalable data quality frameworks while leading cross-functional collaboration with engineering, product, and quality teams. Your focus will be on creating automated validation and monitoring processes to prevent data issues. Key Responsibilities:

• Design scalable data quality frameworks across enterprise platforms

• Implement and operationalize GX Core or similar validation tools

• Develop reusable data quality rules with a Rule-as-Code approach

• Build automated validation checks for datasets and workflows

• Create reporting solutions to track data quality trends

Requirements:

• 5+ years as a Data Engineer or similar role

• Experience with GX Core or comparable tools

• Strong SQL skills, Azure PostgreSQL, Amazon Redshift

• Hands-on with ETL pipelines and large-scale workflows

• Excellent collaborative and communication skills
