Join the University of Saskatchewan as an IT Support Specialist, where your technical skills meet exceptional customer service. In this full-time position, you will support campus technology and audio-visual systems for faculty, staff, and students.
This role involves providing vital IT assistance using both remote access and face-to-face interactions. Your primary duties include troubleshooting issues, configuring multimedia devices, and logging all support requests in the official tracking system. Key Responsibilities:
• Assist users with technology, audio-visual equipment, and software
• Set up and support videoconferencing and multimedia technologies
• Ensure all support queries are documented clearly
• Manage installations and configurations for endpoint devices
• Gather user information to diagnose and resolve issues
Requirements:
• Technical diploma in a related field is essential
• At least three years of experience in support roles
• Knowledge of multimedia equipment maintenance
• Ability to work under time-sensitive conditions
• Effective customer communication in English
