Job Description
** Senior Systems & Cloud Engineer
** We are seeking a
** Senior Systems & Cloud Engineer
** to design, implement, and support enterprise server, identity, and cloud infrastructure. This is a hands-on role focused on building secure, scalable, and reliable infrastructure while supporting the transition of infrastructure operations from a managed service provider to an internal team.
** Key Responsibilities
*** Design, build, and manage
** Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra , PKI, virtualization, storage, and backup
** environments.
* Design and manage
** Microsoft Azure infrastructure**, including IaaS, landing zones, governance, security, and cost management.
* Administer
** Microsoft SQL Server**, including security, backup/recovery, patching, performance, and high availability.
* Lead infrastructure audits, gap assessments, lifecycle planning, and architecture standards.
* Manage
** server patching, vulnerability management, monitoring, disaster recovery, and restore testing**.
* Support infrastructure integration across IT and operational environments, including remote sites and occasional travel.
* Lead the transition of infrastructure operations from a managed service provider to an internal infrastructure team.
* Maintain infrastructure documentation, runbooks, recovery procedures, and technical standards.
* Collaborate with network and security teams to implement infrastructure, security, and identity controls.
** Qualifications**
* ** 7+ years
** of experience in systems and cloud infrastructure engineering.
* Strong hands-on experience with
** Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra , PKI, SQL Server, VMware/Hyper-V, storage, and backup/recovery**.
* Strong experience designing and managing
** Microsoft Azure infrastructure**.
* Proficiency with
** Power Shell**;experience with
** Terraform or Bicep
** is an asset.
* Experience with infrastructure security, governance, and hybrid IT environments.
* Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
* Relevant post-secondary education or equivalent professional experience.
* Microsoft Azure certifications such as
** AZ-104 or AZ-305
** are an asset.
* Experience with infrastructure modernization, enterprise environments, or managed-service transitions is an asset.### Apply Now:
