The Role

Are you driven by relationships and motivated by growth? As an Insurance Advisor at BCM, you’ll be the primary contact for a dedicated book of business—building meaningful connections with clients, supporting their insurance needs, and helping them protect what matters most.

This role blends relationship management, client service, and business development. You’ll have the opportunity to build and grow your own book of business, supported by a competitive starting salary as you get established. Over time, Advisors transition to a commission-based model that rewards growth through both renewals and new business.

What You’ll Do
  • Develop, grow, and maintain strong relationships with policyholders
  • Provide expert advice and risk assessments tailored to each client’s needs
  • Identify coverage opportunities and help clients adapt as their needs evolve
  • Prospect for new business through referrals and networking
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless customer service
  • Commit to ongoing professional development and insurance education
What You Bring
  • A positive, motivated, and customer-first attitude
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • 4+ years of sales or service experience with a desire to grow in the insurance industry
  • A relevant post-secondary background or equivalent life experience
  • An active OTL or RIBO license (or willingness to obtain one—with our support)
  • CAIB, CIP, or similar insurance designations considered an asset
