Become a key player at Intact as a Property & Builders Risk Claims Consultant, focusing on complex risk claims. This hybrid role emphasizes analytical skills and effective communication with stakeholders.

In this role, you'll be part of the Specialty Lines team managing Wood-Frame construction claims from the STRIIOR distribution channel. You will assess Builders Risk claims and Equipment Breakdown, ensuring thorough investigations and effective negotiations. Prioritizing accuracy and compliance, your efforts will help maintain high performance standards in claims settlements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Investigate and evaluate complex Property claims

• Conduct thorough and timely investigations

• Communicate with policyholders and brokers

• Negotiate and settle claims effectively

• Mentor less experienced claims adjusters

Requirements:

• Detail-oriented and self-motivated

• Strong critical thinking and communication skills

• Experience in Builder’s Risk claims (preferred)

• Undergraduate Degree or CIP designation (asset)

• Flexibility to travel as needed
