Intact Specialty Solutions seeks an Intermediate Underwriter. This role involves analyzing risk, executing underwriting strategy, and consulting on Directors and Officers Liability and Professional Liability. You'll collaborate within specialized teams, enhance business growth, and ensure top-tier service levels are met for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Underwrite new and renewal business for Financial Institutions
• Analyze quote requests and determine risk acceptance
• Build strong relationships with producers for mutual goals
• Participate in industry events and marketing efforts
• Document underwriting decisions through automated systems
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years underwriting experience preferred
• CIP Designation or in progress is a plus
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Bilingual in French and English is an asset
