Block’s Agencies is currently searching for an Insurance Advisor to join our team in Langham.

This is a broad role by design. You’ll quote across both personal lines and commercial lines — auto, home, farm, and small business — which means you’ll build a depth of product knowledge that’s difficult to get anywhere else. And you’ll do it with the backing of the Block’s Agencies: the markets, technology, and support of a growing Saskatchewan organization, without losing the close-knit feel of a community office.

Quoting & Placement

• Prepare and present personal lines quotes — auto, home, tenant, seasonal property, and recreational.
• Support commercial lines quoting for farm, small business, and contractor accounts.
• Market risks to our carriers and recommend coverage that genuinely fits the client’s exposure.

Client Service

• Manage renewals, endorsements, and annual coverage reviews.
• Review limits, deductibles, and endorsements so clients understand exactly what they’re covered for.
• Support clients through the claims process.

Growth & Community

• Build the client relationships that generate referrals and retention.
• Represent Block’s Agencies in the communities we serve.
• Take on greater responsibility as you’re ready — we promote from within.

We care more about capability and attitude than a particular résumé.

• You might be a newly licensed Level 1 looking for a brokerage that will actually invest in your development.
• You might be a Level 2 or 3 who wants more autonomy and a bigger say in how files are handled.
• You might be coming from another field entirely and are prepared to get licensed.
• You are someone based in or around Langham who:
  • Holds (or is willing to obtain) a Saskatchewan General Insurance Licence — Level 1, 2, or 3;
  • Communicates clearly and professionally, in person, on the phone, and in writing;
  • Has strong organizational skills and can keep multiple files moving simultaneously;
  • Has excellent attention to detail;
  • Is curious, asks good questions, and is willing to learn;
  • Is comfortable with technology and picks up new systems quickly; and
  • Takes ownership of a problem and sees it through to resolution.

Licensing & Professional Development

We cover continuing education, licensing fees, and industry designations (CAIB, CIP). If you’re a Level 1 who wants to be a Level 3, we’ll support the coursework and give you the file experience to back it up.
