Position: Boart Longyear Procurement Specialist

In this position, reporting to the Canada Supply Chain Manager, you will handle purchasing and materials ordering for operational needs. Your tasks will include securing competitive bids, issuing purchase orders, and working closely with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery—all while maintaining a commitment to safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and issue purchase orders to suppliers

• Monitor delivery schedules and order statuses

• Engage suppliers to negotiate and secure bids

• Coordinate with accounting to resolve procurement issues

• Ensure supplier compliance with requirements

Requirements:

• 2 years’ experience as a purchasing agent

• Strong communication skills in English;
French is a plus

• Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems like Oracle

• Capable of independent decision-making and analysis

• Excellent organizational skills and team commitment
