As a Parts Technician with Northern Strands, you will play a crucial role in sourcing, ordering, and managing parts needed for mechanical service work. Your efforts will directly support our innovative projects across multiple divisions, from mining to construction. You will interact with suppliers, monitor delivery times, and ensure our inventory meets operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and order necessary mechanical parts for jobs

• Maintain accurate inventory records and turnover levels

• Collaborate with the Lead Service Writer on urgent orders

• Verify incoming parts and update tracking in Sage 300

• Process purchase orders and support shipping and receiving activities

Requirements:

• Minimum Grade 12 education or equivalent

• 2 years experience in a mechanical shop or parts management

• Knowledge of parts for automotive and heavy equipment

• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications

• Valid driver’s license for delivery tasks
