Purchasing Buyer at LifeLabs

Enhance your procurement career as a Purchasing Buyer with Life Labs in Etobicoke, Ontario. This 12-month contract role emphasizes supplier relationship management and efficiency in purchasing operations.

Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, the Purchasing Buyer will manage a substantial portfolio of $25 million with suppliers. You will oversee the procurement process from requisition to payment, ensuring productivity in operations while supporting internal stakeholders. This role requires effective communication skills and a strong foundational knowledge in supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage procurement operations for a $25 million portfolio

• Oversee automated and manual PO creation processes

• Provide daily support to Life Labs Operations and services

• Assist the Purchasing Manager with escalated tasks

• Maintain productive supplier and stakeholder relationships

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of procurement experience

• University degree in Business or equivalent

• CCP certification or equivalent is an asset

• Familiarity with Oracle ERP and Excel preferred

• Excellent communication skills for diverse stakeholders
