Strategic Buyer III for Utilities

Lead procurement efforts as a Buyer III, focusing on complex categories in gas and utility operations. Drive cost optimization and supplier relationships while ensuring compliance with governance.

In this critical role, you will develop sourcing strategies and engage with senior stakeholders to align procurement with business objectives. You will execute RFPs, manage supplier evaluations, and negotiate pricing and contract terms. Additionally, you'll mentor junior buyers and spearhead process improvements to enhance procurement strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead sourcing strategies for high-value categories

• Develop sourcing plans with senior stakeholders

• Design and execute complex RFPs and evaluations

• Negotiate contracts in collaboration with leadership

• Manage and review supplier performance for improvements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's in Supply Chain or related field preferred

• 5-8 years in procurement or supply chain experience

• Valid Driver's License required

• Strong skills in negotiation and risk management

• Ability to mentor and promote best procurement practices
