YWCA Summer Maintenance Student

Get hands-on experience as a Building Maintenance Student at YWCA Saskatoon this summer. Your efforts will keep community facilities in top condition while gaining valuable skills.

This full-time term role spans June to August with a commitment of 30 hours per week. You will support maintenance activities at the large Saskatoon Community Village facility, contributing to both its aesthetic appeal and functionality. Responsibilities include ground maintenance, assisting in minor repairs, and ensuring communal areas are safe for everyone.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support on preventative maintenance tasks

• Maintain landscaping through mowing and trimming

• Assist with minor carpentry and painting

• Prepare equipment and ensure it is in working order

• Perform safety checks and keep logs of hazards

Requirements:

• Must be between ages 15 to 30

• Preferred high school diploma holder

• Valid driver's license required

• Basic CPR and First Aid are advantages

• Criminal Record Check required for employment
