Responsibilities Perform general building maintenance and troubleshoot issues with facility‑related items such as doors, windows, and locks.
Mount, hang, and secure objects on walls such as shelves, picture frames, and fixtures.
Assemble furniture, including desks, chairs, and other office equipment.
Assist with seasonal groundskeeping tasks.
Maintain a safe and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are safely stored.
Assist with setup and breakdown of SRC spaces for meetings and events.
Monitor and report any larger maintenance needs to senior team members and managers.
Participate as a member of SRC’s emergency management team and assist the Health and Safety team with OH&S activities.
Qualifications Experience completing basic building maintenance tasks, repairs, and assembly.
Building Operator certification(s) considered an asset.
Valid Class 5 driver’s license.
Able to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
Original Criminal Record Check satisfactory to SRC, executed within the preceding 30 days.
