Become a vital part of Matrec's team in Moose Creek, Ontario, focusing on compost facility maintenance. This full-time role requires mechanical expertise and prioritization of tasks to ensure optimal operations.

As a Compost Maintenance Technician, you will work alongside the Maintenance Supervisor and Operations Manager. Your mechanical knowledge will support essential repairs and maintenance of systems at our Moose Creek facility. Keep the work environment organized, perform inspections, and address emergent repairs as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily cleaning and maintenance of equipment

• Organize work areas and ensure cleanliness around bins

• Execute preventative maintenance and inspections

• Assist with mechanical and electronics repairs

• Track critical spare parts inventory

Requirements:

• Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to work with minimal supervision

• Experience in maintenance within industrial settings

• Commitment to health and safety procedures

• Readiness to assist in training lower apprentices
