Position: City Maintenance Planning Specialist
Drive facility excellence as a Maintenance Planner at the City of Saskatoon. Focus on enhancing safety and efficiency through strategic planning and scheduling of maintenance tasks.

This position is essential for maintaining operational integrity within the Facilities Management department. The Maintenance Planner is responsible for creating various maintenance plans, managing CMMS work orders, and leading scheduling meetings. Candidates should possess a strong background in maintenance management and a commitment to continuous improvement efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate maintenance activities across facilities

• Create and oversee task lists in the CMMS platform

• Convert incoming requests into actionable work orders

• Prioritize maintenance tasks effectively based on criteria

• Support operations during shutdowns and outages

Requirements:

• Completed Grade 12 and relevant post-secondary education

• Minimum 5 years experience in facility maintenance

• Ability to obtain Maintenance Management Professional Certification

• Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence and clean driving record

• Strong analytical and communication skills
