KIT Recruitment is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic for a leading agricultural processing facility in North Battleford, SK.
This full-time, permanent role is responsible for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and ensuring reliable operation of plant equipment.

- Full-time, permanent
- On-site:
North Battleford, SK - Paid vacation
- Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment, conveyors, motors, and machinery
- Troubleshoot, repair, and replace mechanical components
- Complete welding and metalworking as required
- Read blueprints, manuals, and equipment specifications
- Coordinate maintenance with production to minimize downtime
- Monitor equipment performance and report maintenance concerns
- Respond to emergency breakdowns when required
- Follow HACCP, GMP, and Occupational Health & Safety standards
- Support additional maintenance projects as needed
- 35 years of maintenance experience in a processing plant, grain facility, agricultural operation, or similar environment
- Experience maintaining and troubleshooting production equipment
- Welding, electrical, and motor repair experience is an asset
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Self-motivated, dependable, and safety-focused
- Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety regulations
