Custodian at WDM

Join the WDM Saskatoon team as a Custodian, ensuring exceptional cleanliness in the facility, galleries, and grounds. This role focuses on routine cleaning, safety, and maintenance of public trust spaces.

Reporting to the Facility & Grounds Supervisor, the Custodian plays a vital role in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and care at WDM Saskatoon. You will perform custodial services across public areas, galleries, and exhibits while ensuring the safety of valuable artifacts. A strong attention to detail, good documentation practices, and effective communication skills will be essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform cleaning services across entire facility

• Ensure the safety of gallery artifacts during cleaning

• Document daily cleaning and maintenance activities

• Address urgent clean-up needs promptly

• Monitor and request cleaning supplies as needed

Requirements:

• Grade 12 or equivalent education

• Experience in janitorial services preferred

• Class 5 Driver's license and certifications are assets

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and in a team
