Building Operations Lead

Become a key player in building management with the City of Saskatoon as a Building Operator. Leverage your expertise in mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems to ensure operational excellence.

This role reports to the Building Operations Supervisor and involves overseeing and maintaining building systems. You will provide functional leadership, ensuring that maintenance and cleaning tasks meet safety and operational standards while using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). Your contributions will directly impact facility performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the operation and routine maintenance of building systems

• Direct and inspect assigned staff’s maintenance work

• Track preventive maintenance requests with CMMS

• Perform repairs on building structures and equipment

• Assist in the relocation and setup of equipment

Requirements:

• Grade 12 education completion

• 2-year diploma in Power Engineering or related field

• 3 years of relevant maintenance experience

• Valid Fourth-Class Power Engineer's License

• Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence
