Building Maintenance Labourer

Support facilities management as a Building Maintenance Labourer in Saskatoon. This role focuses on grounds upkeep and equipment operational tasks under the supervision of the Buildings and Grounds Foreman.

The City of Saskatoon is seeking a Building Maintenance Labourer to perform various duties related to grounds and building maintenance. This position requires at least one year of experience in general maintenance and involves tasks such as snow removal, scheduled cleaning, and operation of motorized equipment. You'll work closely with both internal teams and external stakeholders to maintain a clean and safe environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain plant grounds and reservoirs in peak condition

• Perform building maintenance and equipment cleaning

• Operate motorized equipment safely

• Conduct snow removal for pathways and roads

• Execute scheduled cleaning duties including offices and washrooms

Requirements:

• Grade 12 education

• One year of related maintenance experience

• Valid Saskatchewan Class 5 Driver’s License

• Completion of first aid certification within six months

• Successful CRC results for employment
