Position: Full-Time Maintenance Aide at Extendicare
Enhance resident care with Extendicare as a full-time Maintenance Aide, responsible for vital maintenance tasks in our long-term care facilities. Your work ensures a safe and maintained environment for residents.

This full-time position includes a variety of daily maintenance tasks which directly impact the quality of life for our residents. Responsibilities include installation, maintenance, and responding to operational requests from staff. In addition, you'll conduct important checks on safety equipment such as fire alarms and kitchen appliances, ensuring every aspect of our facilities is operational.

Key Responsibilities:

• Address maintenance requests from staff efficiently

• Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance checks

• Handle equipment repairs and installations

• Move furniture and support housekeeping staff

• Maintain accurate documentation of tasks performed

Requirements:

• Experience in maintenance or a related field

• Excellent communication skills

• Capability to perform physical tasks

• Knowledge of safety protocols

• Must be detail-oriented and organized
