Custodian Positions Available Prespatou School

Join the Custodian team at Prespatou School, tasked with maintaining cleanliness and security across the facilities. This part-time role includes 4 hours of work on Tuesday and Thursday and 8 hours on Wednesday.

In this position, you will be responsible for comprehensive cleaning, securing buildings, and performing minor maintenance duties. Candidates should ideally have one year of cleaning experience and exhibit the ability to work independently. Adherence to safety protocols and effective tool usage is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Thoroughly clean and disinfect all building areas

• Ensure windows and doors are secured properly

• Perform minor maintenance tasks as assigned

• Plan daily responsibilities in coordination with supervisors

• Participate in seasonal cleaning initiatives

Requirements:

• Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent

• Preferred 1 year of cleaning experience

• Valid Class 5 license may be necessary

• WHMIS training needs to be completed during probation

• Clearance of a Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Search is required
