Custodian for WDM Facilities

Ensure the cleanliness and safety of WDM Saskatoon's facilities as a Custodian. This crucial role involves daily cleaning tasks, artifact care, and inventory management for supplies.

Reporting to the Facility & Grounds Supervisor, your primary responsibilities as Custodian will involve maintaining the high operational standards of WDM Saskatoon. You will conduct routine cleaning throughout the museum, manage urgent clean-up situations, and ensure the careful handling of artifacts. Strong organization and communication skills are essential for successful collaboration with the custodial team and supervisors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide custodial services in all facility areas

• Monitor and protect the collection integrity

• Keep daily records of cleaning tasks and issues

• React promptly to urgent cleanup situations

• Oversee inventory levels for cleaning supplies

Requirements:

• Minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent

• Previous custodial experience preferred

• Class 5 Driver's license, with relevant certifications an asset

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work well alone and with a team
