Recreation Labourer for Ice Facilities

Location: Kindersley

Become a vital part of the West Central Events Centre as a Recreation Labourer in Kindersley. This full-time role involves ice facility operations while prioritizing a safe and clean environment for all patrons.

Your main responsibilities will include operating various ice maintenance equipment, maintaining cleanliness in the facilities and dressing rooms, and assisting with event preparation. Ideal candidates will bring a strong work ethic, arena maintenance experience, and excellent customer service skills. Certifications in building maintenance and a grasp of refrigeration is an asset for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Zamboni and other ice maintenance equipment

• Maintain facility cleanliness and safety standards

• Assist in event preparation and execution as needed

• Follow established procedures and maintain standards

• Complete additional tasks as instructed

Requirements:

• Arena Operator 1 & 2 certificates preferred

• High School Diploma or equivalent necessary

• Valid Saskatchewan Class 5 Driver's License

• Standard First Aid & CPR training required

• WHMIS training provided upon employment
