Hard Floor Janitor for Mining Facilities

Athabasca Catering Limited Partnership is hiring a Hard Floor Janitor for their remote mining facilities in Northern Saskatchewan. This full-time role involves thorough cleaning and upkeep of hard surfaces.

Successful candidates will have at least 1-2 years of janitorial experience and be able to work shifts in a compressed workweek format. Your duties will include sweeping, mopping, and cleaning with specialized equipment. A valid Class 5 driver’s license is preferred, and candidates must clear a drug and alcohol test before hiring.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain hard floors in various buildings

• Perform sweeping, mopping, and waxing tasks

• Use specialized floor cleaning equipment

• Dust, vacuum, and sanitize as required

• Comply with ACLP policies and safety procedures

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of relevant janitorial experience

• Experience with specialized cleaning equipment

• First aid certificate preferred

• Familiarity with WHMIS regulations

• Able to handle physical demands of the job
