Maintenance Technician

You’ll maintain Squire’s property portfolio to ensure functionality and condition, working professionally while adhering to RTA policies, keeping accurate records, and providing maintenance recommendations to Property Managers.

• -Oversee plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
• -Troubleshoot and complete minor repairs
• -Complete unit turnovers for prospective tenants
• -Provide proactive maintenance recommendations
• -Perform minor landscaping and other assigned tasks

• -Maintain records using the online system
• -Track timesheets and purchase orders
• -Create and maintain a database with property insights
• -Code and file receipts

• -Coordinate with Property Managers/Operations Manager for resident, tenant, and guest entry approvals
• -Assist with daily scheduling and provide time estimates for expense approvals
• -Coordinate with approved vendors when required
• -Proactively order supplies for site visits
• -Maintain company equipment

• -Minimum two years’ experience in a similar or transferable role
• -Safe, effective use of hand tools
• -Comfortable with physical work (standing, bending, kneeling, lifting 50+ lbs indoors/outdoors)
• -Knowledge of drywall repair, painting, doors, windows, fixtures, and basic plumbing
• -Calm under pressure with strong multitasking skills
• -Comfortable learning new systems and asking questions
• -Familiar with Apple ecosystem (macOS, iOS, iCloud)
• -Strong written and verbal communication
• -Excellent organization skills
• -Valid driver's license and personal vehicle required.
