Join the Living Sky School Division as a Casual Caretaker at Luseland School. This role focuses on maintaining a clean and safe environment for a diverse student population.
As a caretaker, you will respond to vacancies throughout the school year, working on an as-needed basis. You should be self-motivated, possess strong communication skills, and thrive in collaborative settings. An appreciation for working with children and youth is essential, as is the ability to plan and prioritize tasks effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation within the school
• Ensure a safe environment for students and staff
• Communicate effectively with colleagues
• Flexibly adapt to varying shifts and hours
• Carry out additional maintenance tasks when necessary
Requirements:
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Enthusiastic about working with young people
• Experience in a caretaking role preferred
• Fireman's Certificate or WHMIS certification is an advantage
• Commitment to promoting diversity in the workplace
