Become a vital part of Atrium Retirement Residence as a Housekeeping Associate in Orillia, ON.
Your role focuses on cleanliness and kindness to create a welcoming environment for residents.
In this position, you will report to the Environmental Services Manager and maintain high cleanliness standards throughout the residence. Primary tasks include cleaning, sanitizing rooms, and engaging residents in daily activities to enrich their lives. You will also collaborate effectively with residents, families, and fellow staff to uphold a compassionate atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform surface cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfecting tasks
• Manage garbage and recycling waste efficiently
• Respect residents' dignity and promote confidentiality
• Communicate effectively with residents and team members
• Report safety concerns immediately to management
Requirements:
• Experience in housekeeping or hospitality preferred
• Understanding of elderly care and empathy needs
• Familiarity with infection control and safety practices
• Valid CPR & First Aid Certificate preferred
• Clear vulnerable sector screen and recent TB test required
