Lead retail sales operations through resource allocation and policy execution in an on-site management position requiring English communication and overnight travel.
The Sales General Manager works in a retail, wholesale, or distribution centre setting. This position requires five years or more of experience and supervises five to ten people. Responsibilities include coordinating departments, establishing organizational objectives, and managing sales, operations, and development activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Allocate material, human, and financial resources
- Coordinate regional, divisional, or departmental work
- Establish organizational objectives and approve policies
- Represent the organization during negotiations and official functions
- Supervise five to ten people
- College, CEGEP, or other one-to-two-year certificate
- Five years or more of experience
- Knowledge of inventory control software and MS Office
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Willingness to travel overnight
