Position: Machinist - Vertical Boring Mill
RIMEX is the leading custom manufacturer of all off road wheel and rim assemblies. RIMEX also offers a full range of complementary products to match their wheel counterparts.
Our continued growth and development has created a need for a Machinist - Vertical Boring Mill in our Saskatoon branch.
The position is full time - 40 hours per week, with possible shift work. We offer competitive wages as well as a comprehensive benefit package after the completion of the probationary period.
Position requirements:
Key Responsibilities:
Complete set up sheets; documenting new product requirements for approvalSet up the machines properly and ensure that they are working at full capacityDetermine and then run the appropriate program for each job; make adjustments as needed to ensure quality product.Load and unload the machines with the required productsCheck and measure partsChange the inserts when requiredOperate all equipment, including in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation, policies, and proceduresGeneral clean up of working area to help maintain a safe working environmentEducation & Experience:
Skills and Abilities
High school diploma or equivalentRed seal certification or working towards certification requiredMust have Vertical Boring Mill & Turning experienceExperience in programming CNC machinesMinimum 3 years of experience in a heavy metal manufacturing environmentExperience in precision machining with tight tolerancesExperience using an overhead crane an assetAbility to lift 50 poundsBenefits
