Material Handler - Summer Term Position

Position: MATERIAL HANDLER - SUMMER TERM POSITION

MATERIAL HANDLER - SUMMER TERM POSITION

Location:

Saskatoon, SK

THIS POSITION REQUIRES ROTATING SHIFTS
2 weeks of day shift - 8am to 8pm, 2 weeks of night shift - 8pm to 8am

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Operate plastic drain pipe production lines;

Remove, package and sort raw materials or finished products using manual or electrical equipment;

Weigh all manufactured products on the winder;

Quickly identify quality problems during visual inspection of finished products;

Read and interpret work orders;

Complete production/quality reports;

Assist with equipment repairs and adjustments;

Maintain a clean, clear and safe work environment;

Education and Skills Required

High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience in manufacturing/manufacturing considered an asset.

Rotating schedule (four 12 hour shifts + 8 hours on day shift, then night shift, switching biweekly)
