Based at our Saskatoon Plant, we are hiring a Labourer for a 2-month contract. This role is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the plant site and providing assistance amongst various departments when necessary.
Note:
This is 2-month fixed-term contract position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Wash and disinfect the plant site, pits, pipes, countertops, roofs, drains, and other areas
Conduct safety pre‑trip inspections on the site forklifts and submit record logs to the Supervisor
Clean the yard and all pit areas including the walls and basement areas
Depackage and unbox raw material in an efficient manner
Unload raw materials and finished product totes from trucks
May be asked to safely operate forklifts and other hoisting devices when necessary
Perform shift work based on company business needs which evolve and change in response to customer demands
Work overtime as instructed to ensure minimal downtime of facilities
Perform other duties as assigned by Manager or Supervisor
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, with excellent communication skills
Ability to frequently move, carry, lift, push and pull equipment up to 50 lbs without assistance and occasionally greater with assistance
Perform repetitive motions including bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing, and reaching overhead above the shoulders daily
Adaptable to adverse conditions including confined space, heights, cold weather, odours and animal by‑products
