Responsibilities Prepare bottle orders and sample preservatives for packing and shipping.
Review and double-check bottle orders prepared by others for errors.
Receive supplies and distribute to appropriate department.
Inspect and lay out client samples as received.
Label sample containers for processing.
Provide excellent customer service to clients and couriers.
Clean and pick up coolers from Sample Login.
Maintain a clean work area.
Sort and dispose of samples.
Perform basic area cleaning.
Provide general assistance as required.
Use correct methods in accordance with established procedures and schedules while ensuring analytical quality.
Observe established safety regulations and comply with all ALS health and safety policies and procedures.
Other duties as assigned by the team lead or manager.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities English communication skills (auditory, verbal, writing, and reading).
Basic use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Basic computer skills.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks correctly in a fast-paced environment.
Good organizational skills with ability to meet strict deadlines such as turnaround times and holding requirements.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong work ethic and willingness to take on varied tasks.
Commitment to excellence and a client-focused attitude.
Required Qualifications High school graduation (chemistry preferred).
Some laboratory experience is an asset.
Full training will be provided.
Physical Demands Able to stand or sit for a full shift.
Able to lift 50 lbs. and carry for short distances.
Manual dexterity to perform intricate and/or repetitive tasks.
Benefits Estimated hourly pay of $19.52 CAD at the time of posting.
