Production Worker in Wood Shop

Become a full-time Production Worker at our Saskatoon wood shop, focusing on machinery operation and quality production. This role also involves assisting in training and ensuring safety compliance.

In this position, guided by the Senior Supervisor, you will carry out various production duties and operate equipment like mitre saws and pallet jacks. You will support the planning and supervision of tasks for clients, emphasizing product quality and a safe working environment.

Your role will also include managing shipping materials and assisting with inventory processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate mitre saws, air nailers, and multi-rip saws

• Assist Senior Supervisor in job planning and training

• Ensure adherence to safety and quality procedures

• Manage shipping, receiving, and materials handling

• Perform other duties as directed by supervisors

Requirements:

• Completion of Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent

• Experience in woodworking or mechanical industries

• Forklift and WHMIS certifications preferred

• Strong math and communication attributes

• Must pass a criminal record check with vulnerable sector search
