Saskatoon Public Schools is the largest school division in Saskatchewan, serving nearly 29,000 students with the support of more than 3,300 dedicated professional and support staff.

Working primarily 3 p.m.–11 p.m., the Assistant Building Operator assists in cleaning, maintenance, and plant operations to ensure school division properties have a protected, clean, learning and working environment that is kept in a comfortable and presentable condition.

Under the general supervision of the immediate supervisor and general direction of work assignments from the Building Operator, the Assistant Building Operator assists in cleaning, maintenance, and plant operations to ensure a protected, clean, learning and working environment.

• Must possess a grade 12 or equivalent.
• Fireman Boiler Operator, Refrigeration Operator, or 5th Class Engineers certificate may be required.
• Ability to utilize email and the energy management system, as well as process maintenance requisitions and supply orders.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills combined with effective problem solving, decision making, organizing, and planning skills.
