Forklift Operator Lumber Yard

Enhance your career at Gillfor Distribution as a Forklift Operator at our Saskatoon facility. This full-time role is focused on customer order assembly and safe truck loading.

You will become part of our Lumber Yard team, reporting to the Shipping Supervisor. Responsibilities include loading and unloading building materials and assisting in inventory counts. Your knowledge and punctuality will be instrumental in maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Efficiently load and unload materials in the lumber yard

• Assist with the loading process for customer trucks

• Participate in periodic inventory checks

• Maintain order and cleanliness in the yard

• Comply with safety regulations at all times

Requirements:

• Must have a High School Diploma

• Forklift Certification is required

• Minimum of two years experience in a lumber yard is advantageous

• Ability to lift weights up to 80 pounds

• Flexibility in start and finish times, and outdoor work ability
