Step into a vital role at RIMEX as a Machinist with expertise in Vertical Boring Mill operations. Based in Saskatoon, this full-time position emphasizes quality machining within heavy metal manufacturing.
You will play an integral part in setting up and running CNC machines, ensuring production meets stringent quality standards. This role combines technical proficiency with safety, requiring attention to detail for all tasks. General maintenance of the working area will also be part of your responsibilities, promoting a safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Complete necessary set up sheets for approvals
• Set up machines to ensure peak operational capacity
• Determine appropriate programs and adjust as needed
• Manage product loading and unloading processes
• Measure parts accurately to ensure quality
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Red seal certification or working toward it
• Must have Vertical Boring Mill and Turning experience
• Minimum of 3 years in a relevant manufacturing environment
• Expertise in CNC programming and precision machining
