Horizon Manufacturing is hiring!
We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team in creating top-quality pet food.

• Cooking kibble to meet the standards
• Working with QA to ensure all parameters are met
• Visual and calculated inspections of the product
• Electronic recording of run information
• Cleaning of the department daily and full sanitation at the end of the production week

• On-site inspections
• Monitoring of production/sanitation activities
• Testing/inspection of kibble and incoming ingredients
• Record, review and completion of assigned documentation
• Bring forward and assisting in any concerns that directly affect the safety and quality of kibble

• Running the mill for the dry batches
• Keeping track of inventory levels and using First in First out
• Unloading bulk ingredients
• Detailed record keeping of operations during the day and any deviations
• Daily cleaning and end of week deep cleans

• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more
• Ability to follow policies and procedures
• Ability to meet food safety standards
• Ability to think independently and problem-solve
• Reliable daily attendance

• Manufacturing and/or food safety skills
• WHMIS Training
• Forklift Training
• Confined Space Training
• OHS Training
