Production Machine Operator at Nexans

Become a vital part of Nexans as a Production Machine Operator, where you manage and operate machinery for electrical cable production. Engage in quality checks, tool setup, and ensure precise material handling throughout the manufacturing process.

In this position, you'll oversee all tasks related to operating production machines  a Machine Operator, you will read design recipes, select tooling and raw materials, and perform routine equipment cleanings.

Your role includes conducting thorough inspections and making decisions based on quality metrics, thus ensuring the highest standards of product excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read design recipes and cable drawings accurately

• Set up tooling and materials for production runs

• Perform quality checks on in-process and finished products

• Operate machinery, including pallet jacks and cranes

• Conduct autonomous maintenance tasks on equipment

Requirements:

• Experience in operating production machinery

• Knowledge of quality check tools like micrometers
