Dry Ice Technician (Full Time) - Ft. Saskatchewan, AB
Major Responsibilities:
Maintain the safety, health and environmental standards of the plantCut, pack and prepare dry ice orders for different segments of Dry Ice marketsLoad trailers and ship dry ice directly to branches or customersKeeping floor, warehouse and shipping bins cleanPrepare shipping documentsOperate a forklift and pallet jackMeet established standards for productivity and qualityOperate, monitor and control the various dry-ice processes, dry ice press, and nugget machinesProvide routine & preventative maintenance and services to the processes and the equipmentWilling to work overtime as needed to meet peak product demandsFlexible schedule as the schedule and shifts may change with 48 hours’ noticeAbility to lift up to a maximum of 50 pounds repetitivelyQualificationsQualifications:
At least one year of experience working in an industrial environmentAbility to perform mathematical calculationsComfortable using computers and data entry systemsMechanical aptitudeComfortable working with industrial equipment
Capable of performing the physical demands of the jobAn extreme respect for safety expectations an
d protocols
Accurate and detail orientedA team player who is able to work within tight deadlinesReliable transportation to and from workFirst Aid and Forklift Operation Certifications considered an assetLinde has an extensive background check process which may include but is not limited to, a criminal background review, pre-employment medical, driver’s license and abstract review, and may also include reference checks, employment and education verification.
