Sawyer Position at Nu-Fab

As a Sawyer, you will ensure timely and accurate lumber cutting for production needs at Nu-Fab. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing lumber materials and maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Experience with computerized equipment and lumber grading is preferred to excel in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and dispose of waste lumber materials

• Check grade and quality of lumber pre-cutting

• Perform maintenance on tools and machinery

• Control lumber flow within the saw area

• Adhere to all safety and operational procedures

Requirements:

• Familiarity with computerized saw operations

• Understanding of lumber quality grading

• Capable of lifting 50lbs regularly

• Solid English comprehension for task clarity

• Required steel-toed boots and suitable work attire
